Live Minder Trend Analysis
Dear Reader,
Welcome to Live Minder Trend Analysis. My name is Dexter Nelson and I am the founder of TechDex Development and Solutions. The purpose of this post is to officially announce the creation of Live Minder Trend Analysis, also called "Live-Minder", or "Live Minder".
Before I can explain what this invention does, there are a few concepts that must first be understood. With that said, have you heard of data mining?
Data mining is the process of extracting patterns in data or information. Using sophisticated data search capabilities and statistical algorithms, you can discover patterns and correlations in large pre-existing databases.
We have always relied on data mining to base decisions on, from consumer products we buy and use every day in our homes, to the leading indicators that govern the country. It is important on all thinkable levels, but is the life blood of marketing, both online and offline.
Market analysis has is at the root of everything we see: online, offline, on the corners, in the stores, brand names, clothes, commodities, farming equipment, information products... the type of computer you buy, toothpaste you use, car you drive, stores you shop at... every facet of our society is affected by data mining and how it is used.
The second thing to understand is that the information gathered, even though they do form patterns, is old information. Future projections are based on past performance, then hypotheses are made based on them, and as educated as they are, it's still a guess and carries risk as they aren't always correct.
The final thing to understand is that nobody has 100% of all of the data. Because of interests and profit focuses, there are only bits and pieces of information available, so what you get is conflicting data, making the decision process harder, and increasing the risk of being wrong. Even decisions based on a few sources are only part of the whole picture.m
I've created Live Minder Trend Analysis to combine live data from multiple sources online and offline, to create a new type of leading indicator - live leading indicators that aren't based on past information, but live information, including polls, reviews, news sources and more, to accurately show what trends are currently happening, and show what trends are starting to happen.
Using data from multiple sources gives a significantly larger view of the whole scenario, and when checked against past trends, the accuracy is near 100%.
In smaller tests of 23 other web sites, Live Minder produced dramatic increases in targeted traffic and overall ranking. The proof can be shown here: http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/techdex.net (opens in a new window).
I took my own site, which, in it's current form is still relatively new and has had consistently low traffic and terrible rankings. If you look at the categories under Traffic Stats, let's go through them.
The Traffic Stats over a 3 month period, there is a very drastic change in rank, up more than 9 million places, and almost 2 million places this month; the percent of global Internet users who visit the site is up 700%, (up +130% this month and it's only the 9th); Page views per user is up 500% with an average of 8 pages per visit and is up 600% this month with 12 page views per user;
The bounce rate, (that is the percentage of visits that consist of a single page view, or people who visit and then leave on that page), is down 49%;
This one is a very drastic change. Daily time spent on the site is up 1625% over the three month period, and up another 620% this month), up from 1 or 2 minutes to 16 to 22 minutes.
As far as branding, only 6% of the traffic comes from search engines, which means that 94% of traffic comes from people who click a link, use bookmarks, or directly type the url in their address bar.
The results speak for itself. Looking at another source: http://www.quantcast.com/techdex.net (also opens in a new window), you can take a better look at the history of the traffic.
Notice that up until near the end of September, traffic was steadily low. It had small fluctuations, but overall it was low. At this point in time this site didn't even have a US Rank. About the middle of September there is a small rise, then a very large spike in traffic. This is when I first started testing Live Minder Trend Analysis to my marketing.
The traffic rose through October and steadily rose and here we are at November 9th and as you can see, the traffic isn't a small spike, but beginning to be a consistent rise, and now has an Alexa rank of 1,813,892, and not even being ranked in the US before this, is now ranked 302,835. If you do the math of how far up the site has moved in ranking for Alexa, it's moved almost 10 million spots, which puts the rank before the 3 month period in the 12 million to 13 million range.
All of the tests that were done on the 23 other sites were similar. There were drastic increases in both rank and traffic.
Now I am making Live Minder Trend Analysis available for a limited time as I perfect this new method of analysis that just changed, and re-defined market analysis.
What does this mean for business? What does this mean for you?
Just as the proof I've shown, it means that for the first time ever, marketing research can now point to what's happening instead of relying on educated guesses about what might happen.
It means that the face of marketing research just changed, and the playing field between big corporations and everyone else from home-based, small and mid-level companies has just be leveled, by making the resources that only corporations with millions of dollars of resources is now available for pennies on the dollar.
It means product creation can be done based on live trends, and not weeks of market analysis. This process takes less than an hour to complete.
It means that you will be able to target, penetrate and capitalize on new markets in a fraction of the time that it would normally take, and even provide a considerable advantage over your competition.
It also means assuming less risk, and not wasting money in unnecessary advertising, while reaching your customers on a more direct andpersonal level.
The possibilities are endless. Even if you are starting a new business, Live Minder Trend Analysis can cut the time from building to making money significantly.
It means that your business will always be on top of current trends and events.
