Good News On A Monday Morning
I'm starting a new tradition. Every Monday I'm going to report good news. It seems that all week long we are hit with one bad story after another and I think what we allow ourselves to take in at the beginning of the day helps set the tone for the rest of the day, and even the week. So... here is a bit of good news to start your day.
UK surgeons separate twin girls joined at head
Sunday was a day for celebration in London, as Sudanese twins who were born with the tops of their heads conjoined were successfully separated at a London children's hospital, after a series of rare and risky procedures.
Rital and Ritag Gboura are 11 months old and the operation was paid for by Facing the World, a charity which helps disfigured children.
